FFS Class

This trip is designed to teach you how to utilize your electronics to their full potential.  Right now, I am only providing this for Lowrance/Active Target 1 & 2.

There are two options for this class, which includes utilizing your boat or utilizing my boat.  In general, the following is the agenda for this 3 hour on the water class:

15 Minutes - Adjust/Level Transducer (on land)

30 Minutes - Dialing in settings

30 Minutes - Learning to cast/track baits

Remaining Time - Scope around, understand what you are seeing and try to catch some fish.

If we run my boat, then we can still walk through how to level your transducer or this can be removed from the trip.

This trip is designed for a single person; however, can accommodate up to 2 anglers.

"The Best Investment You Can Make After Buying Forward Facing Sonar!

If you've just installed Forward Facing Sonar (FFS) on your boat—like I did with my Lowrance Active Target—do yourself a favor and book a lesson with Steve at Stikfish. I thought I had a decent handle on things after binge-watching every YouTube tutorial out there. But it wasn’t until Steve stepped onto my boat, helped me fine-tune my settings, and walked me through what I was actually seeing on screen that it all clicked.

FFS is a game-changer—but only if you know how to use it. Steve doesn’t just teach you how to read the screen; he teaches you how to read the water. The difference? Casting at fish you know are bass, not just hoping they are.

You could spend hours on the lake trying to figure it out yourself (ask me how I know), or you could shortcut the learning curve and start catching more fish—faster. Scheduling an on the water session with Steve was hands-down the smartest move I made after installing my system."

"Steve is awesome, so knowledgeable and really takes the time to teach.  Not your average service.  I feel like I learned what would have taken me years all in a 3 hour session.  Oh and not to mention my PB fish on DVL as a bonus! Highly recommended.
